Public Participation Plan
Our public participation
goal is to educate, consult, involve and collaborate with local
governments, interest groups, environmental justice groups and citizens
at every stage of the planning process. To that end, we will be
providing many different ways for the public to become involved. This
web site will be updated regularly to provide information on our
planning process. We recently sent a letter to over 1,000 organizations
and individuals inviting them to participate in our planning process. We
will also be holding regional focus groups, public information meetings,
and creating technical advisory committees. We welcome both oral and
written comments.
