Pulp and Paper Industry Assessment
In September of 2008, the Commission was awarded
supplemental funding from the Economic Development Administration (EDA) to
“identify regional interested in embarking upon a future, more detailed
investigation of factors currently impacting the pulp and paper industry
in the region.” The Commission is working collaboratively with the North
Central Wisconsin Regional Planning Commission and the Bay-Lake Regional
Planning Commission, along with a group of key stakeholders, to embark on
identifying potential EDA projects related to this industry within a
Northeast Wisconsin context. Below, please find information related to
this effort.
